Testimonials

You is so kind, thoughtful and knowledgable about the college admissions process on many levels including social emotional.  You have "done your research" on many schools and their programs.  This is not just a job for you but a mission that every student deserves and can go to college no matter what their struggles are.  You truly care and you stayed engaged with us throughout our entire process, checking in to see if you can be of any more assistance.  It is well worth the additional financial investment to hire you.  I do not believe that a high school guidance counselor with so many students to service can give each student the care and individualized attention that you provide.  You also understand neurodiversity.  We previously hired and fired a college advisor who specialized in neurodiversity because she was just not knowledgeable enough.  There is not one neurodiverse student, every student is an individual with their unique struggles. I believe that you see each of your students as such.

Heidi - mother of student at Manhattanville College

Marie genuinely cared about my story and all the small details of my life we spoke about. She was an amazing mentor and someone who really made me believe in myself throughout the whole process. I also remember almost not wanting to apply to Penn, but Marie recommended I apply there. Now that I am here it has been the best decision I've made and I am so grateful that Marie pushed me to apply here.

I was so nervous about making friends in college, but Marie helped me to think of where and how I could find my people. I started freshman year feeling more confident and found friends! I really appreciated how she made me feel.

- Maria (SUNY Cortland)

Marie helped me feel more comfortable transitioning to college. During the summer after senior year, she helped me navigate how to choose and talk to my college roommate. She made me feel heard and more confident.

Marie really helped me improve my interviewing skills, résumé and cover letters. She made critiques on what to improve on during interviews. It made me feel so much more confident.

- Brian (Hofstra University)

After every meeting with Marie, I felt like we grew closer! She made the college application process enjoyable and fun because I felt like we could talk about anything and connect it back to college. She helped me figure out my strengths and how to portray those qualities in my application. I was more confident about applying to college with these coaching sessions.
